Surface Preparation
Our surface preparation services are designed to get every metal component ready for finishing and long-term use. With full in-house shot blasting facilities, we can efficiently clean, descale and prepare carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium for painting, coating or further processing. Managing the process entirely on-site allows us to maintain precise control, deliver consistent results and uphold the highest standards of quality across every project.
Shot Blasting Expertise
Our dedicated shot blasting facility can accommodate items up to five metres cubed, with a lifting capacity of up to five tonnes, making it suitable for both small components and large structural fabrications. The process achieves a surface finish to SA 2½, providing a highly effective method for removing rust, mill scale and other contaminants while creating the ideal key for paint, coatings or other treatments. For aluminium, we offer a combination of abrasive preparation and tailored etch primer options to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality.
